Addressing the 14th ACD Ministerial Meeting in Bangkok, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Iran gives high priority to multilateral cooperation in the region. Adding that regional cooperation among the states could help render greater regional solidarity, dialogue, and development, the Iranian foreign minister voiced Tehran’s readiness to hold the first ministerial meeting of tourism ministers of the member states. Iran is the prime mover in the area of Cultural Cooperation at the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) and relevant center has been established in Tehran, Zarif said. Establishing Cultural Coordination Center of ACD would have significant contributions on cultural cooperation, convergence, understanding and solidarity among Asian nations, he added.
