As part of the activities of the Cultural Coordination Center of Asia (CCCACD) aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation with the Member States of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Mr. Mohammad Jafari Malak, Chairman of the Center, held a meeting with Her Excellency Professor Fazeeha Azmi, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting, the capacities and programs of the Center were introduced, with emphasis placed on the importance of strengthening cultural cooperation and its role in promoting greater convergence among Asian countries. The Center’s cultural initiatives, including the Online Platform for the Arts and Handicrafts of Asian Countries and the project for collecting and publishing indigenous children’s stories from ACD Member States, were also presented, and areas for Sri Lanka’s participation in these initiatives were discussed.

Her Excellency Professor Fazeeha Azmi welcomed the Center’s cultural activities and initiatives, emphasizing the importance of expanding cultural cooperation among Asian countries and introducing the cultural and literary heritage of Asian nations to future generations. The meeting also emphasized the continuation of cultural consultations and coordination and the utilization of existing capacities to develop joint programs between the Cultural Coordination Center of Asia and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
