At the beginning of the appointment of His Excellency Ngoc Nguyen, the new Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a meeting was held with Mr. Mohammad Jafari Malak, the Chairman of the Cultural Coordination Center of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).

During this meeting, while welcoming His Excellency, Mr. Jafari Malak introduced the goals and programs of the Cultural Coordination Center and explained the position of ACD as an important platform for expanding cultural, artistic, and social cooperation among Asian countries.

He also presented a report on the center’s approved and currently implemented programs and, referring to Vietnam’s historical and cultural richness and the country’s active role in the area of Asian cooperation, emphasized the importance of Vietnam’s participation in strengthening cultural convergence.

Expressing his pleasure for this meeting and appreciating the activities of the center, His Excellency Ngoc Nguyen announced the full readiness of the Vietnamese Embassy to expand cultural and artistic cooperation within the framework of the goals of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue.

The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, and both sides emphasized the need to develop cultural, academic, and artistic relations between Iran, Vietnam, and other Asian countries.
