Remembering Dr. Mohammad Reza Zeinali

Dr. Mohammad Reza Zeinali was born in the city of Arak (Central Province of Iran) in the year 1963.

After completing his primary and secondary schooling in his hometown, Dr. Zeinali pursued his higher education in Tehran and acquired his Master’s Degree in Criminal Law, and later managed to complete his Ph.D. Dr. Zeinali simultaneously attended seminary studies and completed the intermediary level.

He then joined the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and became a member of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization after it was established in the ear 1995.

During the lifetime of his activities, Dr. Zeinali held a number of positions some of the most important of which are enumerated below:

Director of the Office of Asia and Oceania from 1996 to 2000

Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2000 – 2003)

Director-General of Administrative Affairs, Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (2003 – 2005)

Director-General of the Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Azad University, Rey Campus (2013 – 2015)

Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Thailand (2015 – 2018)

Director-General of the Legal Affairs, Islamic Culture and Relations Organization from 2018 to the time of his demise in March 2022.

The late Dr. Zeinali also has several papers, both in Persian and English, to his credit that were presented in different seminars.
