ACD Cultural and Tourism Coordination Center cooperates with the UNESCO National Commission in Iran in the field of culture and holding scientific training courses and promoting knowledge tourism.

Dr. Mohsen Shojakhani and Mr. Ahmed Abdollahpour, Vice Presidents of ACD Cultural and Tourism Coordination Center, met with Dr. Yousefi, the Deputy Secretary General of UNESCO National Commission in Iran on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, and talked about cooperation between the two institutions.

In this meeting, after a brief introduction about the Cultural and Tourism Coordination Center of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue and its responsibilities, the areas of cooperation between the parties, especially in cultural and tourism affairs, were discussed and explored.

It was then decided that the issue of holding scientific and educational courses to improve the level of tourism among the ACD member countries, as well as the ways and means of cultural cooperation should be prepared in the form of a specific implementation plan, and in the next meeting, after confirming its generalities, the process of their implementation be announced. Also, the National Commission of UNESCO in Iran announced its readiness to reflect the activities and programs of CCCACD to the Asian members of UNESCO.
