Iran’s Cultural Week in Tajikistan

The opening ceremony of Iran’s cultural week was inaugurated in the evening of Monday, October 21, 2022, in the presence of Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Taghi Saberi, ambassadors of other countries, the people of Tajikistan, and a large number of Iranians living in Tajikistan at the Ballet Opera Hall in Dushanbe.

In this cultural and artistic event, more than 51 Iranian artists from the fields of visual arts, painting, calligraphy, calligram, music, naqqali, pahlevani and zoorkhaneh rituals, etc. will display their works and achievements for the people of Tajikistan.

This program will also be in the two cities of Khujand and Bokhtar.

The unveiling of an album of exquisite calligraphy works titled “Friendship Light”, written by the Iranian author, Kaveh Teymuri, and also the poetry night are other programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are scheduled to be attended by Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, simultaneously with this great cultural and artistic event.

Several Iranian films will also be screened during this event.

Dr. Mahdi Esmaili arrived in Dushanbe on Sunday October 30, 2022 and was official welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Meeting with the Minister of Culture and other officials of Tajikistan, the inauguration of the Iranian Film Week in Tajikistan, visiting several museums and cultural and historical works, etc. are among the plans of the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in this trip.
