In this meeting, which was held with the aim of examining the possibility of cooperation in various fields, Dr. Jafari Malek, the President of the Cultural Cooperation Center of ACD, briefly introduced this Center and its activities in the area of culture, tourism, research, and media and elaborated the new approaches adopted. Dr. Ramin Mehmanparast, the senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the former ambassador of Iran to Poland and Thailand, also expressed his view and added: For the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is rich in material and human resources and is on the path of progress, expanding relations with Asian countries is very important. He went on to say that Asia is the center of the origin of great human civilizations, and considering the many commonalities that exist between Asian civilizations, the issue of Asian cooperation and the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran with its 7000-year-old civilization is of considerable importance.
